Riverwood Rays Off To A Great Start!
In a battle of the Rays tonight Riverwood came out on top. That extends the winning streak to 13 over the past three seasons (four years). Final score: 325 to 180
Four team records were broken: Henry, O’Brien, Cotham, and Bednar in both the boys 13-14 Medley and Freestyle Relays; Raston Sharron swam 31.99 in the boys 11-12 50yd breaststroke; and Liam Muminovic swam 14.63 in the boys 9-10 25yd butterfly
Triple winners: Cora Levine, Liam Muminovic, Anya Muminovic, Raston Sharron, and Coach Jonathan Raynor
In all the years I’ve been involved with summer swim I honestly believe this was the smoothest first meet. That is a credit to all the swimmers, coaches, volunteers, and parents. I’m sure there were some learning experiences but I didn’t see or hear of any real issues. Ya’ll made my job easy tonight and I appreciate it. I hope that everyone enjoyed themselves, especially the swimmers.
