Congratulations 2025 Riverwood Rays!

Congratulations to all  Riverwood Rays participants this summer. It was an exciting season for all.

What a season! We had just under 90% of our swimmers drop time and long standing team records were broken. This season, we advanced into a higher division and swam against teams with more swimmers than us, but we certainly showed the improvement in the water throughout the season. Our team showed a lot of progress from the first meet to the last meet. Thanks to all of the coaching staff, volunteers, swimmers and their families the 2025 Season is one to remember!

– Thank you from HLSA and the Rays!

Season Highlights…

The Riverwood Rays 2025 season began with uncertainty and with much anticipation. Thanks to the hard work and determination of the coaching staff and TSA representatives, the swimmers were finally able to enjoy a season full of laps, ribbons, competition and fun!

Many parents volunteered time and money to make this season and this banquet the best it could be! From Monique Jiggets with tables and decorations, Barret Teague bringing and setting up our speaker for music and speeches, and every other parent bringing drinks, desserts and sides that were enjoyed by all!

We are so proud of all our swimmers and their performances this year. I want to personally thank all the parent volunteers for donating their time while at the swim meets to make sure those meets were possible. We are also very thankful for an amazing TSA Rep in Sarah Muminovic, and Betsy Cotham who also took care of IT for all the home meets to run smoothly which is a large undertaking, and also Mackenzie Manard, Kristen Glanzmann and Tammy Franklin for working closely with them to help when needed and hopefully taking the reigns next year in 2026!

We hope everyone has a great off season and we can’t wait to see each and everyone of our swimmers next summer for another amazing summer swim team season!

Swimmingly,
Head Coach Andrew Johnson
Asst. Head Coach Jonathan Raynor
Asst. Coach Teagan Farrell
Asst. Coach Sonia Hunt
Asst. Coach Kyra Stringfield
