Riverwood 292 to Bedford 211
The Bedford Sharks were the best-ranked team (based on last year’s results) that we will face this year. Our one loss this summer was to a team that also beat the Sharks. So our team is performing at a high level and it shows! The final score was 292 to 211. What an amazing team effort!
Individual Results and Improvement!
The coaches loved the improvement in stroke technique across all age groups, the level of fight in the swimmers every race and the amazing sportsmanship shown by the Rays waiting for the other team to finish and congratulating them. We had 101 swimmers at the meet with 298 swims not including the relays. We had a total of 108 improved swims, resulting in a 36% improvement rate! Great numbers for the 4th meet of the season.
We had four Triple Winners in the 7 to 18 age group and 1 Double Winner in the 6 and Under age group. Congratulations to our triple winners: Carlie Davis, Elijah Hammons, Cooper Yarborough and Logan Yarborough! Also congratulations to our double winner, Allison Payton!
