TSA Champs, for the Riverwood Rays, was a huge success at the Triange Aquatic Center in Cary, NC.
So many swimmers improved times and so many placed in the top 16 to earn points for Riverwood and bring home Medals and Ribbons!
With each event averaging about 60 swimmers we had 11 top 16 finishes, 11 top 8 finishes, 3 top 3 finishes, and a 1st place finish!
Our Top 3 Finishes: Both 15-18 Mens Relays. Free Relay – with Josh Yoneoka, Ben O’Brien, Brayden O’Brien and Elijah Hammons and the Medley Relay with Coach Ryan Pittman, Elijah Hammons, Ben O’Brien and Brayden O’Brien. Also, Elijah Hammons finished 3rd in the 50 yrd Breaststroke.
1st Place Finish: Cooper Yarborough in the 6 and Under 25 yrd Freestyle.
We also had 2 new Team Records set at TSA. Mackenzie Leonhardt broke the her own 7-8 25 Breaststroke record by 7 tenths and the 25 Free Record from 2010 by 2 1000ths of a second!
